Don't forget the next RAG Saturday
afternoon session is on Saturday 16 February. This time we have a
lecture by Sandra Ottley on recent discoveries in the city of Rome and
a Time Team video on excavation in Greenwich Royal Park is east London.

Formally announced that as a result of an extraordinarily generous
offer from RAG Committee Member Don Boyer to fund the lion's share of
the expenses for a second season, the Jarash Hinterland Survey 2008 Season is secure. Posted: 22 June 2008
The Packard Humanities Institute in California awarded a grant of US$249,000 in support of the Aerial Archaeology in Jordan project. That is for 2008 and it is hoped the grant will be renewed in 2009 and beyond. See RAG 3.3 page 1. Posted: 26 August 2008
The Group's final Saturday session on 23 August included a wide range of samples of Roman food. Photographs from the session and some of the recipes will shortly be posted on this site.
