Leonard Goulds
The proceeds from the Don Boyer Roman Archaeology Travel Scholarship allowed Leonard the opportunity to research case studies for his Honours project first-hand. As this project focuses upon the reconstruction of Roman military sites and technology in Britain, Leonard elected to visit and examine such sites as Segedunum (Wallsend), Arbeia (South Shields), Tullie House Museum in Carlisle and Lunt Roman Fort at Baginton near Coventry. Leonard commenced his Honours programme in March 2008, jointly in Ancient History and Archaeology at UWA.
